I have the SCI-L msd with blaster coil 2 and i'm trying to hook it up to my b16...I can't figure out how to wire it up and I was also wondering if anybody knows if the modified distributer cap off of a 88 si engine will fit on my b16..<br>thanks for the help<br>Also what does a b16a redline at? someone said 7600 others say 8000?<br>David

I'm having the same problem w/ my coil. What I had to do was order a new cap from MSD. The part number is 8292 or 8293 as in my case. Which one to order depends on the screw location (also the 8293 is a little bit wider). Let me know what kind of screw pattern you have (what it looks like) and I can tell you which cap you need. They are about $60 or so.<br>Mine redlines real low (7000rpm). I think it has to do w/ your tranny and/or ECU. That question is really out of my realm. Sorry.
