Hello all. I"m new here. Currently have a 2001 Prelude, a 2005 CR-V, and my daughter's '07 Fit.

I'm currently having a small problem with a mouse that 's decided to move into my Prelude. I've removed his nest, or whatever it is he's building, from my heater blower 2 times in the past month. I need to find out how he's getting in. So I guess what I'm looking for is a drawing of the fresh air duct system...or recommendations from anyone here that has any good ideas.

If this post should be in a different folder, feel free to move it. I'm not sure how this forum is structured yet.

thanks,
Train

That was very interesting, a mouse in the Prelude. I have never heard of that before. So what's your plan of action for this mouse? A trap?

Well, after I removed the crap from the heater blower and repaired the speed controller, I left the carpet peeled back and the blower pulled down...with tray of Decon on the passenger floor. I also have Decon on the floor around the garage (detached from the house). I left the car 'disassembled' for 2 days with no activity to the Decon in the car. I have since put the Prelude back together and have have no heat obstruction since. Hopefully the mouse/mice are gone. I still don't know how the mouse got in though. I have had other people tell me they have had the same problem.

Wow, I have never had that kind of a problem. Just a tip if you can find out where it is coming in if it is possible fill the hole with tinfoil. Mice cannot chew through that.

if hes still coming in it might be time to go hunting. at night set up a lawn chair in the dark. put a bag of potato chips out open. when you hear him in the bag, if you have the balls grab the bag and you have the mouse. ive done it a few times... mice love potato chips.
