I saw a V-Tec upgrade kit offered on one of the honda parts websites.
Has anyone heard of this?

verify with the company that you buy the supercharger from. they should be able to tell you what the power gain will be. the ls/vtech conversion will give a base of 192-200 depending on how much work you put into it. I have motor with 150k +. I will do the ls/vtech because I will go all the way b16a pistons, total seal piston rings, crank and rod stabalizer, and all new head componets but I will have almost a totaly new motor with 200 horses.

I think this is where the money factor comes first. If you get a B18C5 (190-200HP) it will cost you $5000-6000 including installation. The B18C1 (170-180HP) will cost $1000-2000 less than the JDM Type-R swap. The supercharger will range from $2000-4000, which will give you anything from 50-80HP (just a guess). The B16A (160-170HP) will run you about $3000 with installation. These prices are in the Dallas, TX area, I don't know about other US states. For a daily driver I would prefer an engine swap, but once again it depends on how much dough you can spare. You can get good power from doing an engine swap and slapping on some basic aftermarket parts for additional power or just use the cash to upgrade the current motor. By going for a supercharger, forced induction is compulsory.

I have double checked on this option at www.g2ic.com this is another 2nd generation integra site and the work will range between 1,300 to 1,700 for the b16 swap. check that site out it has a lot of good info. look on teq tips and then for engines.
