Hello,

I had a moonroof installed in my wife?s
2001 CR-V. Look at the ASC (American Sunroof Company (?)) website.

Ours looks almost like factory, but
because it needs a lip around the roof to close on, there is a rim that is
attached to the roof. When the roof is closed, it looks like one piece, but
when you open the roof you can see it.

There is a switch on the headliner to
open/close the roof. One push to open and hold to
close. There is a pop-up function. The headliner was replaced and drain tubes
run down to the four corners for drainage. It was about $2000CDN.

It is a very nice addition to an otherwise
excellent vehicle.

Hi

I also have a 2000 CRV that I had installed a
aftermarket moonroof also from ASC and it looks and
works beautifully!!! I did not pay as much as the
other person from Ontario, but they put a new liner
and everything in it so it looks like factory. I had
this done at the beginnign of winter so this is my
first summer with it..and so far we have had lots of
rain, plus I get my CRV washed everyweek and I have NO
PROBLEMS!!! GO FOR IT!!! and ENJOY

I had a Webasto sunroof installed on my '98 EX when I bought it new.
After 4 years and 80,000 miles no leaks whatsoever. Here's a write-up:
