Well the civic would be your number one bet there. Depending on the year you can get anywhere from 26 to 32 MPG! pretty good if i do say so myself. Also the two door models will often get better mileage than the larger 4 door models. hope that helps!

Sorry I don't have calculations, but my Civic is great on gas and I'm also expecting a lot more mileage on the car itself. Currently it has around 240,000 Kms on it.
I'd expect the Hybrid to be very good, too. Come to think of it I should start researching that model, for when my civic actually retires. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/s12.gif)

Thanks for the link. It definitely makes me question whether I want to purchase one in the future. I am curious as well about the Hybrid Camry. Anyone have any information?

well the hybrid camry is probably more comparable to the accord hybrid which is also very nice, and is available in v6 hybrid form as well as four cylinder hybrid. probably wont see as much gas mileage as a civic hybrid, but as far as size and luxury are concerned its a little better, and comparable to the camry while the civic is more comparable to the toyota corolla, which is not offered in hybrid form.
