Some of you know by now that I am a cheap cheap person. He he... so now I am wondering if the factory chose the best spot for air to come into the airbox, and judging by the number of different aftermarket add ons and replacements the answer is a resounding NO! So, now I am wondering what is easy, and what is cheap, and that is what I will do! I wonder if just removing the long square part that grabs air near the hood latch would help, and maybe sticking a tube on there that grabs air somewhere else. I am looking for opinions, and experiences that you have had. Hopefully, I am not the only cheap person here. I also have a project jeep, a toyota pickup recieving the clutch timing bodywork treatment, and a 66 beetle mostly custom sitting in the drive, thus making cheaper mods necessary from time to time!<br>Michael
