Hi,
I have a 2008 pilot VP, with its first oil change coming due soon. i was wondering if there were any points (ball joints, tie rod ends, etc.) that need to be lubricated as part of the routine maintence?

Mr Ford Freestar has an Owner's Manual that I read to get information about the engine. It has everything you need in the Owner's Manual. There are probably several places on your 2008 that will need the lubrication. What you can do is look in the Owner's Manuel Index under "lubrication joints". I know for my Singer sewing machine, I have the oil and in the manual it lists all the places to put the oil.

As I have remembered, there is no need to lubricate anything on your first oil change. You might want to check bearings and cv boots later in time for wear & tear. But other than that, I have driven my pilot 2003 for the pass 6 years & I have not need to lubricate anything other than to clean up the CV boots from the mud and dirt.
