Just get some lowering springs. I've had Spax and Eibach springs. Spax are about ?100 for the four and Eibachs ?150 for four. Eibachs are a lot smoother so wont be too hard on your original shocks. Any mechanic could fit them for you, probably cost around ?50. If you decide in the future to go lower then you can always replace the shocks. Sorry about all the ? costs, I live in the UK. I had Spax springs and Koni shocks on my del-sol and the ride was very firm but for smooth roads the handling was superb. I now have an EK Civic (B16a2) with Koni shocks and Eibach springs which is better for the roads round here but the shocks can be firmed up for going on track etc.

Do you have any pictures of the interior of your car? Which side is the steering wheel on? I would love to get some good quality springs like that I need to find some did you buy them online?

The steering wheel was on the right hand side, although mine wasn't a UK model, mine was an import from Japan so had a 1.5 SOHC VTEC (130bhp)

No pics I'm afraid but it was red with the transtop roof.

Hi Todd

Guess what I lived in UK and drove my delsol over there (yes its steering wheel was on the left side) I wanted to show you a picture of fog light that my car needed in order to meet the UK lights specs.!  http://photos.yahoo.com/mavel26

Regards,

V

Hi, I looked through all the photos. In the UK law requires us to have a rear 21W fog light as apparently it gets foggy here a lot lol. Most imports require a fog lamp to be installed at the rear of the car which looks really ugly and I think is poitless when i only use it probably once a year. I doon got fed up with it and converted one of my reverse lights into a red fog light which looked a lot better and a friend copied me :o) The UK del-sol (just called CRX) has a square fog light built into the rear bodywork to the right of the license plate which I think looks ugly anyway, plus the front extra lights are proper fog/spot light whereas on the imports they are just auxillary lights. I wish i had some pics of my del-sol because i spent a lot of time and money on it.

Hi,

I agree with you, it does looks horrible but I had to have it done to be law compliant.  Since now I live in the US, I'm going to take it to a shop to have it removed.
Bye
