Same here. Haven't decided if I'm going to larger tires, or how much larger. Was considering going to 16in in front and 17in in rear. Which with lowering would bring me back to the clearence I now have with my 14in originals. FITDC

the larger the tyre the better, I just love the look of wide tyres on a spliffy car.

If I were you I would get adjustable dampers and lower springs. When you have the springs and dampers installed, tell them you want the best ride quality. This will normally mean the dampers will be set somewhere between medium-stiff to full stiffness as long as your springs are soft enough. When you look at springs, simply get lowering springs. Not all lowering springs are made stiffer. You want softer/lower springs and stiffer dampers.

So you are getting bigger wheels on your Fit. The bigger wheels need the proper springs for them. Honda Guy gave great instructions about the stiffness of the dampers, and soft springs. He's knows what he is talking about. This will look so nice when you're all finished with the new additions on your Fit.

Coilovers are the best option. Problem is they are expensive. Lowering springs is the next best option.
