I am looking to lower my CRV or whatever it takes to
reduce body roll so as to improve handling. Can
someone pl advice

1. My main concern with CRV is to reduce the body roll

and not to lower it so i am assuming that lowering
the CRV will take care of that..correct me if i am
wrong.. Is there another way of reducing the body roll
without lowering the CRV.

2. If CRV is lowered using lowering springs will it
not
reduce the gap between frame and tires which may
cause
rubbing while going over bumps.

3. Will the ride quality go down ?

Thanks

Raj

Have you considered using a strut bar? They are easy to install at the
front - this address has a good photograph of one:

This should not affect warranty and should improve handling and body
roll characteristics. They can also be installed across the rear struts,
but it looks awkward in my opinion. Depends on your main intended use of
your CR-V.

Has anyone used 225/60 R15 tires on the CRV ..
How does these tires affect handling and is there any
power loss associated with them.. i am palnning to get
those in my CRV soon

Raj,
One site I use for parts is: http://www.creverything.com/index.html
They sell the strut bar for $99.00. They also sell many other
suspension, performance, accessory, and appearance parts. I find them to
be quite reasonable in price. If you click on the link above, it will
take you to the website, at the bottom of the page there is an e-mail
link, which you can launch and use to describe what you want and get
price and availabilty quotes. I find that most times replies come very
quickly. I am sure there are other sources for this equipment - you
could do a search on the internet, which often produces many vendor
sites. Good luck Raj.

Hey....you can get one from Neuspeed....it costs about 100-110...you can
install it yourself....it's relatively simple...
