hi i just moved out to california and i'm not familiar at all with these smaller, foreign cars that are all modded out. but i do like them and am looking at buying one. so i'm looking at a 92 civic. it has an LS engine in it, i am not too sure what that is about but it looks like an inline 4 cyl. nice body work, ground effects and shaved door handles and rear spoiler. nice sound system too, 2 12's in the trunk and more stuff in the interior. the engine itself has like 40k miles on it and there are clutch and intake problems (the car won't idle due to the intake and the clutch sticks when you try to shift) but both the clutch and intake are being replaced this weekend. the guy wants 10k dollars for it, i was thinking of offering him 9 but even then i dont know if it's worth it. i don't know about this engine or anything about these cars. if anyone here could offer me some advice i would really appreciate it.
