I'm the new owner of a 96 Accord LX. Just the other day, when I turned a corner, water poor out from under the passenger side dash onto the floor. I am assuming it has something to do with the air conditioner. Is there some hose that could be plugged or have become disconnected that under normal conditions would allow the condensation to drain outside of the car? Any thoughts are appreciated. I am not a mechanic by any stretch of the imagination, but if this were something simple to fix, I'd like to try.

Can't be positive, but normally when that happens, its the hose for the heater unit. Was it antifreeze? Generically, there are 2 bulkhead fittings (one for water in, other is a return) at the firewall, and small hoses connect them to the heating unit. They are easy to replace, the issue may be how hard it is to get to them and what else needs to be removed. Go here, I'd download that mitchell on demand image and see how hard it is to do the install. http://www.icelord.net/honda/repair/

It is water that is leaking. Thank you for the information you've shared.

If it is just water, and you have antifreeze in your radiator, then it is probably the air conditioner drain (on my 2000, its on the right side of the engine compartment. When you have the AC on in your car, water collects on the condenser and should be funneled into a drain hose that drips the water out of the car. It is possible that your drain hose is plugged, or broken..I'd take a gander underneath the car (remember jack stands) and look for a hose coming out of theengine compartment. Gently use something like a opened coat hanger to probe in there to check for blockage... Hope this helps..
