Hello fellow Acura/Honda enthusiasts, It's my first discussion here, so I'll keep it brief. I have recently bought a a 98'Acura 1.6EL Premium, silver in colour. It's a great car, much better than my 95'Toyota Corolla. Anyways, what do you people recommend for motor oil, oil filter, air filters, and paint protectants. I've been using Valvoline synthetic oil, a Fram air filter, and Meguier's clear coat wax in the past. Are they good enough for my new car. Thanks in advance.

Hi & welcome, Mobile1 and Honda OEM oil filters only. Until I converted to a cold-air intake setup, I ran a K&N drop-in filter replacement. For polish and wax, Mothers brand.

I'm running Mobil1 synthetic 5W30 and Honda OEM oil filters. I was using a Fram air filter before I got my underhood intake (which will be a cold-air system this year).
