Hi, I have just agreed to buy a new 2004 S2000; I hope to pick it up in the next couple of days. My impression from my test drive is that the radio is pretty lousy. I was intrigued by the headrest speakers, but the dealer wanted too much money for that. I was wondering what people have done in the way of upgrading the sound system, and how much it cost. I am not an audiophile, and don't want to pay for an audiophile-quality system, but I would like a reasonably good system in my car, so that I could at least hear it well with the top down. Also, have people had headrest speakers put in by aftermarket installers? Thanks. --Mark

Mark I have a 2002 S2000. Eventhough the radio was inproved on this model over previouse years, it is still quite bad. The headrest speakers sounds like a good idea. Since the car is so noisy at high way speeds, I don't know what you can do. I have driven across country several times in mine and the only solution is to turn the radio up loud. Lee
