Cool!! I used to live in OB. I lived in Oakwoode. I moved, i'm not
in Holmdel. I bought my CR-V at Academy Honda back in 98. My favortism of
performance shops have varied. I've dealed with real a$$holes. But at the
sametime, there are really good places. There is another guy in NJ that has
a Turbo CR-V. He deals with Real Deal Motorsports. I like them too,
they're real honest, and so is East Coast Precision. Those two are my favs.
I like them cause their honest and good customer service. Their prices may
not be the cheapest around, but you'll get the price. I, myself would pay a
little bit more to get some honest good service. The two shops are located
up in Bergen County. They two shops are cool with each other. They don't
talk garbage about each other. Hey, maybe we can meet up oneday by the Old
Bridge High School or something. If you ever need any parts from the
factory at Honda, i could hook you up. I'm a mechanic there, as a summer
job. I would go for a custom turbo than a supercharger. But if cost is an
issue, then i would go for a supercharger. The turbo is about 5G's. Look
into the suspension department of the CR-V. You would beleive what this car
can do. People at Englishtown were so amazed at what the CR-V was doing at
Auto-Crossing. Let me know what's going on. take care.
