Hi, someone recommended iridium spark plugs for my 1999 LX Civic. Supossedly they give good spark and at high rpm they perform very well, much better than regular or platinum.
How truth could this be? Will I get better mileage and any other improvement. What about life span, would they last more than regular plugs? I already ordered a set and hope that they are at least as good as the regular ones?

I've heard a lot of positive reviews about Iridium plugs, problem is their expensive. But I guess they are still worth giving a try.

I got them about four or six weeks ago. I changed the cap, rotor and plugs. The car feels smoother, it accelerates easier but I can't say it feels more powerful maybe a little. Mileage is a little better but it maybe in effect of all the new parts I replaced. Anyway they were an improvement.
