My friend has a 1997 Honda Civic EX, 127HP engine. The speedometer and RPM gauges both work PERFECTLY. The problem is that the odometer and the trip odometer have both quit moving completely. What do I need to do to fix this problem?

Did you check with any mechanics to find out? Maybe a wiring problem possibly is going on.

He took everything apart. Made sure that all the little dials could move and reassembled it. It seems to be working perfectly now. Hopefully it will stay that way.
