i was trying to find a place to change the gauges but every place i talk to says they don't install them because the needles are sensitive. has anyone installed them on their own and if so did they have major problems doing so. i need help with this cause the places i called are given me no help what so ever and i want to change those gauges.

I installed the guages myself and didn't have too much of a problem...it just took a long time. What you need to know, and what they don't tell you in the guages manual (and no the needles aren't too sensitive, they just don't wanna do it)is what color wires to splice to get power to the guages. It's the red and black striped wire. Removal of the dash is just time consuming, and remember there are little screws that hold the damn thing in that are hidden behind various places, so look carefully. I'm not sure if that helps, but it's not as daunting as people say...and the reward is really cool, I would never go back to normal guages!

-Greg
