I have finally got all of the issues with my supercharger install solved except one: I have a a "surge" at idle. While idleing, the rpm's sruge from idle (about 900rpm) to about 1400 rpm, then back. I thought the problem might be the air temp. switch and the new relay, so I checked the circuit and the switch, both seemed fine. I plan on checking the idle air control solenoid tonight, but it seems wierd it would pick now to go out. Any ideas?

Did that last night.  Sprayed carb cleaner on every connection I could find and the entire intake area with the engine idling.  No change at all.  I did do a check on the IAC valve.  there is voltage at the connector, but when ohming the valve I got a 0 ohm reading.  Book says is should be 5-8 ohms.  Sound like a bad IAC valve?

Well believe it or not, I had the same problem with my Civic and all I had to do was when putting coolant in the car I had to burp the lower hose while adding water to get out all the air pocket's. When Honda get's low on coolant the automatic choke on fuel injected engine's can't tell when to idle down because it works off of the water temp, therefore it confuses the computer. Make sure you burp lower hose when topping off water or coolant.

I had same issue on my 89 Civic. Someone adjusted my throttle cable and it seemed to work, but I believe my issue was the result of my motor being rebuilt and the dumba** mechanic didn't set the throttle correctly. Give it a try; it's a cheap fix.
