Hi all. I jsut bought a 2000 Passport this week and have heard about the intake manifold gasket leaks. Mine would intermitantly stall when taking off at a green light. Otherwise it runs and idles fine. I went ahead and replaced the gaskets since its a known problem, and it only cost me about $41 and an hour of my weekend. It was very random, and it wasn't acting up for a day or two before I did it, and it's been fine since. My question is this: Is there other known problems that would cause a stall when taking off, or rounding a corner? I have of experience with GM (Saturn), they have crank position sensors and fuel pumps that cause the same symptoms. I know this thing is not a Saturn, but usually I find intake gasket leaks cause misfires, rough idle, lean codes, none of which my Passport has. Any input would be great!
