ppl, i can't remove the ignition key from the dash after parking and turning the car "off." The ignition key gets stuck 1/2 of the way to the last before removal. This leaves us in the position of having to leave the key in the car for long periods of time, turning back and forth, shifting the gears...until at last the key can be removed.

Any Experience? Please let me know, how do i fix this? Thanks in advance.

it sounds as if your car isnt fully engaging into the parked position. Some of these were recalled due to a parking paw on the transmission. I would call your honda dealer and see if it is covered by that recall. that could also cause your car to roll unexpectedly. but typically that is the cause to a key not being able to be removed from the ignition.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/s11.gif) Hi fdaniel, Is your issue fixed?

I have bought new 2007 Honda Odyssey on 06/30/2007. I am also having the same problem - I can't remove the ignition key from the dash after parking and turning the car off. I went to the dealer and they're looking into it. I am not sure whether this a minor or a major issue. I am under post purchase dissonance. If any one have any experience please respond to me.

Thanks ...

we are having the same problem and trying to find a solution. one solution is to disconect the battery. however, if you do that you will lose radio function and you need to have the code to enter to get the radio going. If you have your manual, the 6 digit code is on the back, or somewhere. And it's easy to program again. The down side is having to do that every time. I guess we'll have to take it somewhere to fix. Unless, someone else can help us. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
