Hi I bought a new honda civic 2.2 diesel 2007. It seems to be using oil a lot. I contacted honda to be told that the new generation high performance hondas do use oil and it was perfectly normal ! ! ! .Has anyone else encountered this problem or am i being fobbed off by honda ?

thats not right. Theres no way the a honda should be using oil. Oi is there for purpose of lubrication. not to burn. I would contact them and get it taken care of. could cause major problems.
