When Im just crusin on the freeway at about 4grand and then I step on the gas the car lags a little and then it goes. Any suggestions on what it might be.. oh yeah its a b16

A good probability would be a slow oxygen sensor.<br>It would need to be tested with osciliscope. If you rev the engine a few times, the sensor output should reach at least .9 volts. At 2000 rpm's, no load, the sensor should be cycling above and below .5 volts, 5 to 8 times every two seconds.

My car did that too. (B16a also) I had a bad plug that kept kicking in and out. I just changed my plugs with NGK V-powers and it fixed the problem. Try checking to make sure your plugs, plug wires, and distributor cap and rotor are good.
