Hi all, I have an 02 TL-S and had a question about the keyless entry system. I heard there is a way to make the car beep when you lock and unlock the car, but I don't know how to do it. My keyless system currently does not make any sound when I lock and unlock my car. Does anyone know how to change this? Thanks!

Hey there, I am not sure about the '02 TL, but I got a '99 TL, and when I locked my car, I had to press to the lock button twice and the sound will appear. How many times did you press the button when locking? And I don't think the sound will appear when you open to door. The only thing I know that will appear when you open the door is the light (singal) will appear I believe twice when you open it and once when you close it. I hope this helps. --CKL--

I have a 2002 TL Base and the car beeps when I lock it on my 2nd press of the button. First press locks the doors and flashes lights. 2nd press beeps. It doesn't beep when opening the doors.

I know the car makes a sound when you press the button a second time within five seconds of locking the doors; however, I heard there was a way to program the keypad so it makes the beeping sound the first time, as well as when you unlock the door. I just wanted to see if anyone knew how to program the keypad to do so.
