hi My name is Linda and i got myself a red Honda Del Sol Si 1993 red for myself for Valentines Day. It has 173 k miles on it. And it is a 5 speed. I was wondering how can i look on my car too see if It has a new or rebuilt Engine. I looked all inside and i could not find any vin numbers anywhere on the engine. Also how can i find out if i have a b16a , b or c engine where do i look for that at. Can u tell me please or send me a picture on where to look. I would appreciate it Thanks Linda

The Engine ID number it stamped onto the front of the block between the exhaust and where the tranny bolts to the motor. You won't be able to tell if the motor has been rebuilt. Also the B16A2 wasn't available in the del sol till 94. So unless the previous owner did a engine swap, your motor is a D16Z6 SOHC VTEC. This is the motor they used in the Si's.
