Hey everyone, I need advice here. I looked at a 99 SI that got its engine, wheels, and stereo stolen. The car was on lease...so the car got a replacement 00 SI engine, with 10k miles, from a wrecked 00 SI put into it. Well, the owners didnt want to buy it after their lease ended, and putting another 29k miles on the car, so the bank resold it to a small time dealer who seems to deal in salvage titles specifically. The car has CAI and a free slowing exhaust in it (which I'll have to get rid of since it so fricking loud). If I buy, I would take it to my Honda/Acura mechanic and have him do a thorough test on it (or is a Honda dealership better?). Guy wants $8900 for it. I know it is a too much, what do you guys think? Any mechanics or dealers out here?

that's a lot for a salvaged title bro!! might as well get an older prelude with the same range of price!
