I have an '02 CR-V, but am writing for a friend in Germany, who has a
'98. He needs a part called (according to either the Chilton or Haynes
manual) a headlight wire bracket holder. He was told by his Honda
dealership that this is impossible to purchase by itself, and that
one's only option is to purchase the whole headlight assembly, which is
sehr viel Euros. I tried asking at my local Honda dealership in
California and got the same answer. Does anyone have an old headlamp
they might have saved after having to have their replaced, which they
are interested in selling this part off of? Or, does anyone recall
seeing one in a junk yard near San Francisco recently. Fat chance, I
know, but thought I'd ask anyway.
