Hi,

I found a great website to order all my Honda CRV accessories online
for almost half the cost of what my dealer wanted to charge me. It's
at this web addy : http://www.handa-accessories.com/index.html

I ordered all season weather floor mats, fog lights, nose mask, color
coded door guards, cargo liner, cargo cover, front mud flaps, wheel
locks, leather steering wheel wrap, alarm system, hood alarm, valve
stem Honda covers and a cargo net.

I also bought an after market rear view mirror that has a
temp/compass and dimmer built into it, I got this neat little item
from my local Honda dealer. It's really cool (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I also picked up a
magnetic oil drain plug. And last but not least I bought a K&N air
filter for him! I want him to always breath easy.

Going online I have saved well over $300.00 on these items. I will
install all the above accessories myself with help from my husband
which also saves me a bundle, the Helms repair manuals are a must
have if you plan to do the work yourself.

I love my 2002 CRV ex!

Anni,
Where did you get the K&N, was that through Handa as well? Have you
installed it yet, or haven't you received it? Do you notice any power gain
or intake noise increase? thanks, Larry

Hi Larry,

I got my K&N from this website:
http://easycarts.net/ecarts/asd/Air_Filters.html#searchcart
These guys are great to deal with.

I have it in hand and plan to instal it tonight after all the rain
has ended. It really does make little a difference, we have them in
all of our cars. I have never noticed any extra intake noise when
using this brand of air filter. I highly recommend getting a K&N air
filter if not for a little extra power gain but for the peace of mind
knowing that your car is breathing easier and better.

Hope that this helps,
Anni

Hi Pamela,

A magnetic oil drain plug is great to use because it collects any
metal debris in your oil from you engine, so hopefully it will last a
lot longer. There isn't one made just for the CRV, so what I used was
one designed for the CRX and it works perfectly.

Thanks Anni, I will have to order one up. Enjoy your new CRV. I found a
Car and Driver from last year in the break room at work today, and it had
the '02 CRV review in it - very glowing - bettered or equaled the
competition in most arenas, and much improved from the older models. It's
always nice to hear good things about something you've just signed your life
away for. happy driving! Larry
