Firstly, i'm new to the forum, here and wanted to say hello

Here's my problem: I just bought a 96 year Honda Prelude 4gen. It was kinda hasty deal and i didn't register it on my name (thought could do it the next day). So i went to the local dep. of motor vehicles(DMV) the next day and found out that I could not register the car to my name. The problem was that it had lots of debts unpayed and the DMV sayd they should be payed before the car can be re-registrated. So i called the bailiff and he told me the car had about 2000$ worth of debt. The owner himself does not answer my calls anymore so i totally screwed up.
So what can i do? I can't afford to pay them and i can't sell the car too, im totally stuck (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
