I own a 97 Accord, and it has close to 80,000 miles. There is alot of filth in the engine compartment (normal I am sure), but I have heard of many people having their engine compartment steam cleaned to remove years of buildup. It seems to be a contreversial procedure, since many claim that this procedure could lead to electrical system problems. I actually own one of those Euro-Pro pressure steam cleaners that shoot out a stream of steam for cleaning bathrooms and other household tasks. It works great for cleaning my alloy rims without any chemicals. Has anyone had their Accord engine compartment steam cleaned? Please describe your experience with the results.
