My 2001 CR-V start indicating 30,000 mile red mark maintenance .
One of things after I have read the manual is to change the A/C
filter (not oil filter). Has anyone ever done it? Thanks in
advance. Also spark plugs, most cars suggest to change after 100K
miles on it but CR-V requires to change at 30K. It seems that CR-V
is such a vehicle that requires frequent maintenance after certain
miles.

Changed it on our '99. Easy, but a number of steps to do. Glad I did,
and glad it's there. Nice to see what DIDN'T get into the car from
outside.

We have had 0 problems with our CR-V. I have to question how well
people are perfoming the regular maintenance, and just how well they
take care of their cars in general. Ours looks and runs like new.
We travel a lot, and have taken it to places even Cherokees would
hesitate to go (solid live axles, you know) like a muddy trail down
the side of a mountain, etc.
We love having a car that will go off road and still cruise the
interstate at 90mph, and be Honda reliable.
