While changing the oil last weekend, I noticed one of the CV boots has completely split and the grease has been thrown all over the inside of the wheel. A new boot is cheap but I suspect there's a reasonable amount of labour in replacing it. Has anyone done this before? There's a decent local mechanic who I have got to do a few jobs for me in the past, so unless it's fairly quick and easy to do, I would probably get him to do it... It's a 4th Gen 'lude.
