I recently purchase a used 2004 Civic SE. Last night I took a sharp left turn at about 50-60 km/h and i noticed a slight grinding noise in my rear right tire. I took the car into the dealer and he told me that Honda's can do this because of the way the suspension and wheel are acomidating the turn. We had the car up on the hoist and there does not seem to be anything wrong with the wheel. He even took the wheel off to check if there was a rock or something in the brake. Please let me know if any of you have heard of this type of issue and why does it happen.

If wheel is not hitting any suspension member, then look at rear drums for rust on outer edges and remove. This is an occuring problem with older vehicles, rust hitting the backing plates.

OR the inside fender covers, that happens to me with 205 tires.
