Good Morning
Having just joined on here..I noticed alot of knowledgable Honda Owners..I have a problem with my 2001 CRV. I have brought ot to the dealer 3 times already and they can't seem to find whats wrong..Actually the 3rd time I went I did the test drive with the shop manager and the car ran perfect..
My CRV has 8,000 miles and since the car was at 500 miles there has been a grinding noise when accelerating from 30 to 40 in stop and go traffic.then just a 2 months ago..The car started slipping in 3rd gear when driving up large hills( the problem is where my dealer is it's flat land for miles) But of course the dealer won't fix or repair anything until they can diagnose the problem...It's driving me nuts...because when I bring it to the dealer..the car runs fine...I swear if I brought it to Aamco transmissions they would probably find the problem..
Has anyone had this problem on any of their CRV's?? I know there a few mechanics out there I could use your opinion? How do I handle this with Honda if the problem never gets resolved??
Any help or hindsight is appreciated
