The $289 processing fee is BS, but otherwise it sounds like its a pretty
good deal if its an automatic. Prices havent gone up much since 2000.

In July of 2000 our automatic EX stickered at $21,790,+tax that INCLUDED
the $440 destination charge.

In the end, we got the truck for $20,550 before taxes. BUT that Included
the roof rack, front mud guards and floor mats which were already on the
vehicle.

If you are getting any accessories, got to www.hparts.com and see what
they are asking for accessories. If its something that has to be
installed, call the dealers service dept and get a quote on labor to
install it. Add it together and dont pay the dlr more than that for the
accessory. If its something like floor mats, well there is should be no
charge for takingthem out of the box and putting them on the floor.

Good luck. This should be a good weekend to get a deal. Also last few
days of the month and the first week of a month are usually good too.

I agree with Jeff, the $289 is BS, and dealers like to "hype up" the price
of the mats, mud guards, and roof rack, many install them as soon as they
come off the truck or ship.
His figures are correct for an EX automatic, would be happy with that
NO-TRADE deal. The price is for an IN-STOCK vehicle expect to pay more if
they have to get it.

CATCH POINTS - In certain areas of the USA, the CR-V may be in EXTREME
demand especially with the high fuel prices. It will soon be the vacation
summer, more traveling, more SUV sales.

Hypothetically, If the dealer has THREE WHITE EX CR-V automatics, ONE GREEN
EX CR-V 5-Speed, and ONE BLACK EX CR-V automatic, probably get a better deal
on the WHITE CR-V , but you want a WHITE CR-V SE
