In order to make it so the door open beeper never goes off (apart from when u turn the key) you just have to remove the rubber cap off the senser (the sensor is mounted just on the bodywork when you open the door. Then unscrew the sensor and pull it out. then open it up by pulling on it and remove the spring that causes the little arm to shoot out. With the spring out you can just push the arm in and it willl stay there. This makes the car think the door is permanently closed and so it never beeps. Then replace the cap and screw it back in with the rubber bit on top of it. None the Wiser. Makes the car a lot less annoying if i want to sit demonstrating the stereo with the door open.\ Simon.
