I purchased my car one year ago. From the start I noticed a problem when shifting from 2nd to 3rd while shifting in a somewhat rapid manner. Theproblem was a slight grind or resistance. The problem got worse and eventually surfaced in 2nd gear as well. Honda was very good about acknowledging the problem and eventually installed a new transmisson. <br><br>Well, Ive driven it for two weeks with the new transmisson and I still have the same problem with 2nd to 3rd! I told the tech rep about it today and asked him to try driving another S200. He called back a short time later and told me the other car did the same thing.<br><br>If anyone else is experiencing similar conditions, please post a message.<br><br>Thank you

I had a 99 Prelude SH before I got my S and it had the same issues. I am thinking that it is an engineering problem at the core of Honda Engineering.

I have a 2000 model S200 with 6000 miles. I have had 5 or 6 instances of the same problem. I thought at first it was my fault, but now I wonder... It has always been when shifting from 2nd to 3rd, when driving aggressively. It has not been more than a minor problem up to this point in time. We will see this spring when I get to take it out of winter hibernation !
