I heard in a report that Acura Legend Sedans were
real gas guzzlers. I thinking about buying a used
Legend and I was doing some research.... Does anybody
know anything on the '94 or '95 Legend? I'm having a
hard time tracking down info. Thanks!!

Mileage depending on type and style of driving. I
get 20-21 combined highway city driving and 25
highway cruising.

For more Legend info the best
source is the Legend Temple
www.inexpro.com/legend_temple/. Between that site and all it's links you can
find
all you need to know.

On my 95 LS Coupe with auto trans, I get, or my
wife gets about 20-21 MPG, and this is about 60% city
driving, and 40% highway. On my 93 LS Coupe with a manual
trans, I get about 22-24MPG, same driving as with the
95.

Well, my gas mileage is at the lower end of the spectrum at approximately 18 mpg
mixed city and highway driving, but that could be attributed to my driving
habits. :?

Ninety4GS

You heard right. Because the LEGEND is so wonderful at being a good car, it is
also a wonderful gas guzzler. LOL Yes the Legend eats up a lot gas, but for
this car it's worth it.

I have a 1st generation. It only a guzzler when
you drive the car hard. Take your time and drive and
it doesn't burn too much at all. And for the coup
owners, use D and it will burn less gas. The sport gear
keep the car reving longer in each gear so it will
burn more gas. It will have better accelleration
though. Love my Legend even thoug the damn thing is
parked up until I get a trani or
something.

Later.

My 1st Gen sedan gets +/- 200 miles per gas tank
(15gal?) when driven with a mix of D and S3/S4. On D
alone, I get 220, and when my dad and I swap cars, he
has gotten 230 (he's a better driver)

Actually, both the G1 and G2 Legends have an 18
gallon tank. Some people don't belive it, but it is in
the owners manual as well as service manual :)
Personally, my G2 Coupe gets about 22-24 mpg. I usually fill
up 15 gallons, and go betweeen 340 - 350 miles. I am
getting a bit less lately ever since I put on 225 size
tires though :(

I don't have the owner's manual, but the several
times that I filled up after the low fuel light came
on, I filled ~15 gallons. I have a 1990 G1 sedan. I'd
like to believe you, but I get ~220 miles on a full
tank (from fully topped up to low fuel
light).

Art
