Hey, I hope someone can help. I am working on my Mom's DX. Here is the scenario, Fuse #15 controls the speedo, and alternator charging. The car blew the fuse, so I assumed it was the alt. (wasn't charging with the fuse blown). Changed the fuse, alt charges for about 2 minutes or less, then blows the fuse again.Ran the codes. Came up with #20, #41 and #65. Searched engine bay for any chaffed wires or problem, found nothing. Replaced fuse did all tests for o2sensors, all tests were in range. Tested ELD, it works properly. Had alt tested at a rebuilder on their equipment, it is OK. After all this reassembled everything, ran codes got a #41 only. So I replaced the Primary 02 sensor(Bosch 4 wire, same plug fit right in). After this I replaced the fuse again, and started her up...about 1-2 minutes later, CEL. Ran codes and #20,#41 and #65 all back. I checked VSS and that checked out OK. Can someone help? is there some way to disconnect the heater wires in 02 sensor to pinpoint the fuse blowing problem? I don't want to replace the other sensor to still have the same codes coming up. I looked at the wiring diagram, and it shows the Canister purge valve on this fuse also, can that be the problem? When that fuse(#15) is out, the heater wires don't show voltage, so I am I wondering if the codes are coming up because the fuse is blowing(due to another source).PLEASE HELP.....Thanks
