Hit the ditch last summer, found myself deep in a
corn field at 1:00 am. No body damage (mine either),
only alignment issues...serious alignment issues. Oh,
and I busted glass in side mirror on boxelder tree
when backing out of corn. Spent the next day banging
out the damage.

Drivable but was hesitating
big time...as if wasn't getting fuel...had to baby it
just to get up to speed. Well, ended up driving the
old 79 F-150 (300-6) and the Legend ended up forming
the core of a large snowbank.

Did a little
research concerning fuel presure regulator and it made
sense that the presure needs to increase when ya stomp
on it. Well, I disconnected vacume line to FPR and
sucker runs like a chicken. But, the fuel presure will
always be maxed out provided I leave it
disconnected.

Question: will it hurt to leave that FPR detatched? The
fuel rail pressure will always be greatest. Will that
be a problem?
