Ok here's the deal i had a 95 honda ex with a b16 engine, hit a deer with it and totaled it. I've been searching for a honda for about 3 weeks now and i've ran across a 1996 civic hatchback with a ls/vtec in it. I know it has Type R internals and a GSR tranny, he never said what head was on the car, im gonna speak with him hopefully 2morow so i'll post it if i find out. i'm looking for a decently fast car that i can rely on, how reliable are these engines especially one setup like this?

the guy said its a B16A head with GSR cams so all togethor i would be buying a B20 block with a B16A Head with GSR cams, GSR tranny, and Type R internals, what do you guys think of this setup? what do you think im looking at HP wise and 1/4 mile wise, sitting in a 96 civic hatchback.

i tell you what, if its a b20 block that block has no type r internals, the b16a head is known as crap and cams are gsr so therefore there is nothing tye r about that car and i not really sure about the horse power you will be getting all and all that car is not that fast probably thats why he's selling it.

yea sorry about the misprint, its a B18 block, with type R internals, B16 Head w/ gsr cams. gsr tranny.
anyway your saying the car will run like a pile of shit? just wondering cuz i dont wanna waste $4500.
