I notice this engine noise particularly when it's idling. It sounds
like a diesel engine but not as loud. I've also noticed, not all the
time, when I turn the ignition off the engine make a sound..something
like bird chirp...not sure whether it's the belt.

Anyone experiencing the same?

I have a noise, a whistle noise from the fuel injection area when engine is
running
and this noise continues for a few seconds after the engine is turned off.
The volume
of the whistle noise slowly reduces after a few seconds, but it happens
every time.
It almost sounds like a vacuum leak, but I can't see any hoses off.
Anyone else hear this on their V?
