Today I finally put in my intake. With the help of keillish it only cost me 36 bucks! i couldn't find a k&n filter the right size so i just bought an off brand but it still works great. It only took about 15 minutes to put in, it's really easy. Anyone with a vig and 40 bucks so definatly do it, it sounds like a whole new engine and the throttle is alot more responsive. Anyways, i'll post some pics of it soon.

oh yeah one thing though, does your filter kinda just flop around? Mine, you can just move wherever since the hose is so flexable, is that how yours is or did you secure the cone somehow? thnx

yah i had the same problem with one vigor that i put an intake on. i used velcro to secure it, and it worked pretty good. after a while though i took the velcro off and just let it find a comfortable spot on its own. it never really seemed to hurt it, just bent the rubber on the filter a little. the part number i gave you in that one message is to a k&n filter that fits PERFECTLY in my car. i was so happy with it, it needed no velcro or securing and sat snugly in the rubber intake piece (that is glued to the car). im glad you found your pieces for only 35 bucks, that's great. hope you enjoy it!
