I just bought a used 1999 CRV with 24K miles for about $15.5K. Is
there a list a FAQ for these vehicles? I had a 1986 CRX-Si which I
very much enjoyed but the CRX was worthless in the snow. I'm hoping
the CRV will be infinetly better.

Your CR-V will be infinitely better in snow. I have a '98 CR-V EX and it is great in snow and handles the North Cascade Mountain Passes better than my old Jeep Cherokee did. I love this car.
