Is it possible to swap a f20c into a Prelude. I mean it sounds great since I can use my H 22 to make the F 20 a stroker. Most of all I just want an S 2000 engine in my car thats all.

Hope to hear Feedback Thank Ya

That makes no sense at all, im sorry. But that motor has a complete dif trans set up, and its not possible to do. You can do a accord euro r motor which would bolt right up and be alittle bit more power and torque.

First of all I know it doesn't make sense. That's why I asked I mean I just want to have something way different I don't want to be the one with an H22, F22, B18 etc. in my regular old front wheel drive. I think it is possible. I mean who in the world do you know that has ever done an F20C swap in anything besides an S2000 that blew its engine or something like that. I have heard of a company that makes transmission adapters for cars and I think I might start there with this IMPOSSIBLE swap. Oh if you know of any other just crazy ideas for a swap besides the just common stuff than I would love to hear it considering I don't know exactly where I want to go with this project yet. As of now I want to make it right hand drive and do an engine swap.I thank ya for the feed back and I know everythings completely different between the two.

Man, too be totally honest. Thats impossible unless your make it RWD. with the size of the f20c you will never get it too fit in there side ways with a tranny. I promise you that. your welcome

It is pretty much impossible but I know for sure if I did find some way to make it happen the car would probably be featured in some major publication. I mean the engine itself rotates in a completely opposite direction but k-series transmission would probably work. The problem is is the dimensions of the engine bay and the motor mount that need to be changed. All kinds of things make this thing seem like I am trying to make some kind of Godzilla Frankenstein is what I'm going to call it. Hey thanks for the help even though its really not feasible. Do you have any other crazy Idea for a swap maybe. Talk to you later and make that Civic of yours completely different than the MILLIONS that are out there.

yeah, sense an F20 would be just about impossible to do. i have a few ideas.
ive never heard of a k24 in a accord that style.
Or a newer accord v6. even maybe a ridgline motor would fit sense they use the same tranny as a V6 accord.

i mean prelude. sorry.

That Ridgeline Idea wouldn't be all that bad to be totally honest but even that seems to be more impossible. K24 would be cool but I could just bore or stroke my engine so it would could be a h24 that would probably be much cheaper. I might just stick with the h22 i mean they are really good engines. I thought about a b20 and make it vtec since they can make crazy power and I get the really high rev. I really don't know right now I am really just in the planning stages. When I get this all said and done the car is going to be amazing but as of right now it might just take awhile. Thanks for all the help and tell me more about your car and what you plan on doing to it sometime.

Talk To You Later

you could throw an ej25 sti motor in there with not to many major modifications of course you would have to put in the awd drivetrain. its very possible and would be completly unique. 300hp 300tq awd prelude???? that would be sick

You know that does sound pretty awesome. I am not much of a Hybrid swap believer but I mean man it does sound very cool. Do you have any information on how I would even begin.

people, people, OFCOURSE it has to be rear wheel drive. on top o that youd have to bore the fenderwelds and have completely custom motor mounts. the entire bottom of the two cars are completely different from eachother and couldnt be converted without the aid of a pricy performance shop. theres no way in hell you could put a $6000 motor into a car with less than 13 or 14k to play with.
