The car's manual says to only adjust valves at 105,000 miles or "if noisy"... But the dealership pushes the valve adjustment it as part of the "one year maintenance". It's in the shop right now but I told them to hold off and call me on the adjust. My opinion is "if it aint broke, don't fix it", as opening up an engine and messing up the factory seal doesn't sound all that smart to me, and it's $180..... which isn't terrible unless they don't really do anything. What do you guys think? (PS: the valves are perfectly quiet and not ticking in the slightest). It's a 4-year lease, and I will probably trade it back in on a new model when it's up. Thanks. -Chris

Call the dealership where I bought my S2000, 2 of them in fact. Mechanicsville Honda. 1-804-559-4000 - ask for Sara. She the service writter. Like I said, I've owned one and own another, and they have never told me about this deal.
