I am not yet a honda civic owner but I hope to be soon. I am going to purchase a 2001 5 speed civic sedan. I can't decide if I should get a LX or EX model. Does anyone know if the vtech engine makes the car more "zippy" on the highway? Does anyone have any strong opinions (good or bad) about either model of the car? thanks, sara

Hey Joyful Girl,

      I test drove both the Ex and the Lx before Bought my Civic Altough
mines is a 2000 model im sure it has about the same Hp. But anyways GET THE
EX it's stronger and faster and more Hp for your buck! All in all it's jus

Sara,   Keep in mind that if you are tall, like me, that you may feel uncomfortable because of the sunroof. The ceiling is lower to accommodate the added roof. I have the 5 speed EX coupe. Let me know how you made out. I'm interested in your opinion of the five speed.   Tom
