I have a '97 civic ex and i just added some blue hologen fog lights on the spoiler of the bumper. The kit came with a wiring diagram for a switch you put in the cabin. I don't want to drill holes in the firewall or mess with a switch to turn the lights on. So i tried tapping into the marker lights (this causes the fog lights to come on when the lights are turned on). The fuse for it blew. I'm having trouble looking for a "hot" wire to connect it to. I don't want to screw up the electrical system and cause a domino effect that makes everything not work. Does anyone know where i could find such a wire that would allow me to turn the lights on with the fog lights on at the same time???? e-mail me back @: jaded743@... with any possible answers or comments.

It is very cheap to get those sorts of things done on your car. I would take it to an import shop and have them do it. It shouldn't cost you anymore than 45$ This way it is done correctly and if something happens to the system you have someone to hold accountable. I say 45$ is well worht hte saftey and the repuation of the shop to back it up
