Something tells me that some kind of module (in the dash somewhere) is
required to enable this function in a US spec, 2002 CR-V EX.

DRL's are standard in the Canadian version. Fuses exist & are populated in
the US version but still no DRL's! My insurance company offers a $32.00 per
year discount on DRL equipped vehicles.

Awaiting the electrical manual but it's still on back-order. Does anyone
know for sure?

The module for mine ('97, Canadian) is actually located
on the driver's side front fender wall. It is easy to access, and I believe
it is there because it generates a bit of heat. I haven't traced the wiring
back to the source, but am fairly confident it runs to the fuse box assembly
under the dash.

I believe these devices are well worth the cost
- I have no doubt they reduce greatly the number of accidents on the roads
and highways.

Why would you want to? It takes away from the
electrical system. If uoi must, just turn on the
lights andpress and hold the dash light controller
till the dash gets brighter
