Hi all, I am trying to get info on installing DRL's in my 99 Civic LX in order to cut insurance costs. Any links, thoughts, etc. appreciated.

This is a little late in replying, but I just joined the group. For practical purposes, fog lights with clear lenses make great DRLs. I don't know about for insurance purposes. The manual for my 2000 Prelude, which I am trading in on a Civic GX, shows DRLs for Canadian models, I think starting in '97 so I bet there are factory DRLs for Canadian Civics as well, if you want to stay factory. It doesn't help with insurance, but I generally just turn my headlights on all the time. The only problem is that the clock dims out. Regards, Ian "Civic GX on order" Bower
